Vance: Iran must substantially reduce nuclear enrichment capabilities to reach an agreement
US Vice President Vance stated that Iran must substantially reduce its nuclear enrichment capabilities, rather than just making future commitments, in order to meet US demands and end the seven month long war between the two countries. Vance believes that if Iran wants to prove its determination not to develop nuclear weapons, it should stop producing enriched fuel with an abundance of 60% and take meaningful actions. The United States is open to reaching an agreement, but demands that Iran make concrete nuclear concessions and will not replace action with empty talk. (Source: Reuters, Jin Shi)
