Securitize signs a memorandum of understanding with LG CNS, causing Securitize's stock price to rise nearly 8% at one point

--

Securitize, a tokenization platform, has signed a memorandum of understanding with South Korean LG CNS to jointly develop tokenized assets and digital infrastructure. Both parties will explore tokenized funds, stocks, stablecoins, and Asia Pacific opportunities. Securitize's stock price rose nearly 8% to around $12.60 in early Tuesday trading. The Financial Services Commission of South Korea proposed regulatory rules for the issuance and circulation of tokenized securities last week, with the framework expected to take effect in February 2027. LG CNS launched a blockchain platform on the same day to assist banks in supporting stablecoins and tokenized securities. Securitize was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in July through a merger with SPAC Cantor Equity Partners II.
