Vitalik Buterin: AI accelerates mathematical research or challenges lattice cryptography, does not recommend hasty asset transfers

Vitalik Buterin stated that AI accelerated mathematical research may pose risks to lattice ciphers such as ML-DSA, fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), and ECDSA. The Ethereum Lean roadmap has shifted towards pure hash signatures to reduce dependence on lattice cryptography. He does not recommend users to hastily transfer assets. If the operation is not difficult, the funds can be stored at an address where no transactions have been sent. If there are multiple signatures, they should be confirmed off chain to avoid signature exposure.
