The government of Kyrgyzstan has decided to terminate the operation of the national stablecoin USDKG and request the Ministry of Finance to liquidate the issuer EVA and the state-owned cryptocurrency exchange Coin Nomad Exchange. This stablecoin was launched by the authorities of the country in November 2025, backed by physical gold and anchored in US dollars.
