THE BLOCK: Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen has spent at least $22.5 million backing federal candidates and super PACs this election cycle as he expands his political influence, Bloomberg reports. Larsen recently donated $4 million to Democratic Senate candidate Sherrod Brown after criticizing crypto industry super PAC Fairshake’s plan to spend $30 million opposing him, despite Ripple contributing $25 million to Fairshake this year. "If you're going to be effective when it comes to politics and policy, you've got to be showing up cycle after cycle after cycle," Larsen told the outlet.
