Just attended the OKX NOW dinner, where @star_okx said: 'If you don’t have Bitcoin, don’t join our events.' Hearing this alone, industry folks without Bitcoin might feel a bit offended. But after listening to the full speech, many people would probably be convinced to go buy some. Here’s the full speech: 'Every era has its anchor for money. In the past, it was gold. So for the Crypto and blockchain economy, what’s the anchor? I believe Bitcoin is the anchor for the Crypto and blockchain economy. As I mentioned earlier, if the financial industry becomes e-commerce-like, and even AI Agents start using blockchain wallets, treating on-chain wallets as the default wallet… There’s still huge growth potential in these industries, and the value of this anchor, in my opinion, is definitely long-term. That’s why I always say: if you don’t have Bitcoin, don’t join our events. Honestly, I think this is a very fair suggestion. I’m not saying you need to have 10 Bitcoins. What I mean is, as someone working in this industry, I can’t give you other advice, but I do think you should own some Bitcoin. Treat it as something you can hold onto for the long term. Find a wallet, maybe even a paper wallet. Then you’ll realize you have a connection with blockchain, and that’s very important. Without that connection, you’re like a drifter—sometimes full, sometimes starving for days. But if you have that connection, you’ll find you always have a foundational value to rely on, and you’ll constantly encounter surprises. So I believe the blockchain industry still has room for exponential growth. I also think everyone should feel fortunate to be part of this industry. As someone working in this field, you should have a connection with the industry. And I think the best connection is Bitcoin. From 2013 to 2026, we’ve been promoting Bitcoin globally for the long term. We even used to distribute Bitcoin wallets, giving everyone 0.1 BTC back then. Now we can’t afford to do that anymore. But regardless, we hope to share this perspective with all of you. Additionally, OKX as a company has faced many challenges and encountered various issues. One very important thing is you—our customers—have shown us tremendous tolerance and support.' @star_okx @Cryptosis9_OKX @Haiteng_okx @Mercy_okx @Cayne_okx @Jiajia_OKX @misaENFP
