[OneKey Analyzes Ledger Hardware Supply Chain Attack Path and Proposes Five Hardware Wallet Improvements] Golden Finance reported on October 10 that in response to the incident where approximately $90 million in assets were stolen due to alleged tampering of Ledger devices sold through the CryptoBilis channel, OneKey founder Yishi stated in a post that as of October 10, OneKey had not received any related damage reports. After conducting an in-depth analysis of the attack path involving supply chain implants in Ledger hardware, OneKey announced the implementation of five improvement measures, including upgrading anti-counterfeiting packaging, introducing a screenless initialization process, and advancing encryption for internal communication on the motherboard bus at both the firmware and hardware levels. Yishi expressed hope that manufacturers, researchers, and distribution partners can work together to carefully examine how devices reach users and how sensitive data is transmitted within the devices.
