[Jeonbuk Bank in South Korea Launches Bitcoin-Collateralized Korean Won Loan Program] According to South Korea's *Maeil Business Newspaper*, Jeonbuk Bank, under JB Financial Group, has introduced the first Korean won loan program in the South Korean banking industry linked to digital assets. Initially, the program is available only to corporate clients, with Bitcoin as the sole collateral. The loan is restricted to business operation funding. The bank does not directly hold or manage Bitcoin; instead, it is safeguarded by qualified virtual asset service providers. In the event of default, the bank does not acquire ownership of the virtual assets but recovers its claims by liquidating the collateral through court auctions or other procedures in accordance with the revised *Civil Execution Rules*. Currently, Jeonbuk Bank has completed stress testing and established a valuation system based on the weighted average prices from multiple global exchanges.
