--

Coins.com stated that its license from the Central Bank of the Philippines is still valid and has not identified any foreign gambling or gambling operators for its services. The company claims that user funds are secure and will continue to operate as a licensed institution. The Central Bank of the Philippines has requested DCPay Philippines to strengthen internal controls and restrict some transfers. Coins.com stated that cash deposits and QRPh payments are temporarily unavailable, but cryptocurrency transactions, withdrawals, bill payments, and merchant QRPh payments can still be used. DCPay holds an electronic currency issuing institution license, while Betur Inc. operates Coins.com's cryptocurrency services under an independent virtual asset service provider license.
