[Starknet Initiates Vote to Explore Transition into Independent Post-Quantum L1 Network]
On October 8, StarkWare announced the exploration of the possibility for Starknet to evolve into an independent post-quantum L1 network. The Starknet community has initiated a non-binding vote to assess the level of support from STRK holders for researching this direction. Voting options include support, opposition, and neutrality. Casting a vote in favor only signifies support for research and does not imply approval of the transition; any future transition will require a separate governance process.
