Haven’t opened a position in a few days, so let’s casually talk about ETH. On the smaller time frame, ETH has been showing a converging pattern since 2578, with lower highs and higher lows. Currently, it’s in a low-volume consolidation phase, approaching a breakout point. My trading strategy remains unchanged—wait for the direction to emerge and follow the trend. Both long and short positions have room for maneuver at the current level. Long strategy: If ETH pulls back to 2370-2380 and shows signs of support (e.g., long lower shadow), open a light long position. Stop loss at 2360, target at 2415. Short strategy: If ETH rebounds to 2415-2420 and faces resistance (e.g., upper shadow, shrinking volume), open a light short position. Stop loss at 2425, target at 2380. This isn’t my preferred trading style—I’m better at trading breakouts and breakdowns. Right now, ETH is in a dense moving average zone, so avoid chasing highs or lows around the middle level of 2411. Keep a close eye on BTC’s correlation, as the real direction is more likely to emerge during the European and U.S. trading sessions. In a consolidation market, the risk/reward ratio is limited, so make sure to strictly enforce stop losses!
