Dima Gusakov, the project leader of Lido, stated that during the transition period of the Ethereum Glamsterdam hard fork, the entrusted staking protocol is at risk of being hacked. Glamsterdam will introduce builder deposits that use the 0xB0 prefix withdrawal voucher. Before and after the fork, this deposit shares a deposit queue with validator deposits. Malicious node operators can seize staker funds and credit them to the attacker's builder account, causing the corresponding validator to be unable to activate. The related repair proposal consensus specs # 5735 has been closed, and each pledge agreement needs to perform pre deposit checks on its own. (Source: Crypto Briefing)
