Russia will restrict P2P digital asset trading, with an annual purchase limit of 300000 rubles for non qualified investors
Russia will require individuals to conduct P2P digital asset trading through licensed brokers or registered exchanges starting from July 1, 2027, and restrict transfers from regulated digital asset accounts to personal non custodial wallets. Non qualified investors must pass a knowledge test and the annual digital asset purchase amount through each intermediary institution must not exceed 300000 rubles. The use of Bitcoin and other digital assets to pay for goods and services within Russia is still prohibited. (Source: Bitcoin News)
