SSV Labs has submitted a DIP-59 proposal to reduce its budget and extend services until mid-2027.

SSV Labs, a core developer of the Ethereum staking protocol SSV Network, has submitted Proposal DIP-59, proposing to revise and extend the DIP-31 protocol, extending the network hosting service period from January 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027. Due to market conditions and the DAO's financial situation, the proposal's scope has been reduced compared to previous years, focusing on maintenance rather than expansion. SSV Labs is responsible for maintaining the protocol implementation, ensuring network fork resilience, maintaining mainnet smart contracts, and ensuring the operation of operational and user functional modules.
