My ETH short position opened yesterday was stopped out. Shortly after taking profit, ETH accelerated its drop below 2300, meaning I missed the biggest move. I chatted with some group members and shared some new trading experiences! I rarely win by chasing short positions, and even when I do, it's rarely a big profit. Some trades are essentially optional and don't offer much room for maneuver, but when I do, I tend to look for opportunities everywhere. Often, our losses stem from the anxiety of being out of the market. The current candlestick pattern is indeed bearish. If you have a good cost basis, you can try to gamble with a base position; otherwise, chasing short positions now will likely lead to another painful vicious cycle.
