[Axel Adler Jr.: Short-Term Bitcoin Holders' Losses Dominate Exchange Inflows, Profitable Inflows Drop to 16%] On October 27th, CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr. stated that BTC transferred to exchanges by short-term Bitcoin holders was primarily at a loss, with net inflows falling to -18,600 BTC in the past 24 hours, compared to a positive 10,400 BTC a week earlier. This metric briefly fell to -23,100 BTC on October 26th before narrowing. As of the week ending October 27th, the percentage of profitable exchange inflows from short-term holders decreased from 75% to 16%. Exchange inflows do not necessarily indicate that the relevant BTC has been actually sold.
