Following the news that the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) plans to launch a perpetual futures market based on Hyperliquid in the United States, HYPE futures briefly strengthened. Within half an hour of the announcement, 12 whales opened or re-established HYPE positions worth millions of dollars. Nine of these were long positions totaling approximately $29.3173 million, while three were short positions totaling approximately $8.0435 million, resulting in a net long exposure of approximately $21.2738 million.
