OKX founder Star posted on X, praising Circle and Tether's handling of the suspected Binance hack and calling on exchanges and stablecoin issuers to jointly establish an industry-wide security response mechanism. Star proposed that the industry needs to establish a real-time early warning system to share information and coordinate responses when hacker attacks occur, and to temporarily freeze stolen funds before they are transferred. Circle has cooperated with law enforcement to freeze over 800 million USDC, and Tether has also frozen multiple related USDT transactions.

Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek stated that Crypto.com was unaffected by the Binance cyberattack, the platform is operating normally, and all funds are safe. The Crypto.com team is actively blocking addresses related to the hack and has contacted Binance for assistance.

Shenyu stated that Binance 14's 7702 order was not revoked after 2 hours. A transfer of 2961 ETH into the wallet was pending due to low gas fees. Once the transaction was recorded on the blockchain, the attacker could sweep away the 2961 ETH.
