OKX founder Star posted on X, praising Circle and Tether's handling of the suspected Binance hack and calling on exchanges and stablecoin issuers to jointly establish an industry-wide security response mechanism. Star proposed that the industry needs to establish a real-time early warning system to share information and coordinate responses when hacker attacks occur, and to temporarily freeze stolen funds before they are transferred. Circle has cooperated with law enforcement to freeze over 800 million USDC, and Tether has also frozen multiple related USDT transactions.
