Jeff Yan: Hyperliquid needs to be an independent entity and comply with regulations to expand into the US market.

Hyperliquid co-founder Jeff Yan stated that the platform's entry into the US market requires regulatory compliance through an independent operating entity built on top of the protocol. Hyperliquid's HIP-3 upgrade supports deployment in asset derivatives markets such as stocks, gold, and crude oil, and its ecosystem project, Trade.xyz, has surpassed $500 billion in cumulative trading volume. Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) has invested in Trade.xyz, and Yan is optimistic about the future growth potential of Real-World Asset Tokenization (RWA). (Source: Bloomberg)
