Bitcoin needs to break through $82,000 to confirm it has broken out of its downtrend.

The S&P 500 Volatility Index (VIX) closed at 24.44 points, up 47.14%, reaching its highest level since April 7. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.50%, the S&P 500 fell 2.65%, and the Nasdaq Composite fell 4.25%.

The current total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies is $2.63 trillion, a decrease of $52.333 billion in the last 24 hours, representing a drop of 1.94%. Bitcoin accounts for 58.12% of this market capitalization, while Ethereum accounts for 10.55%.

SanDisk, Western Digital, and Seagate Technology all fell by more than 11%. AMD shares fell 11%, hitting a new intraday low since July.

As of 11:05 PM, the estimated leverage for Apple and Amazon contracts was approximately 4.96x, and for AMD, approximately 3.36x; the 24-hour notional trading volume for the Apple contract was approximately $4.61 million. Leverage levels vary depending on the stock and position size. Regulatory approvals are facing legal challenges. A US federal judge declined to provide an emergency block, but preliminarily ruled that the challengers' argument that the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) lacks the authority to approve single-stock perpetual contracts as securities futures products may prevail.
