Lombard Systems completes $4 million seed funding round

Lombard Systems, a tokenized securities financing infrastructure, has raised $4 million in seed funding, led by Ethereal Ventures, with participation from ALPS Capital, First Commit, Veris Ventures, and ATKA. Lombard Systems provides financing infrastructure for tokenized securities and maintains the Delivery-to-Lock (DvL) standard. This standard allows banks, brokers, and transfer agents to accept tokenized and digital assets as collateral without removing the assets from their original securities accounts. The assets remain locked in the owner's name, and the lender obtains an enforceable collateral interest proven by a cryptographically signed certificate of credit.
