An ongoing attack is targeting the zkLink cross-chain bridge on Ethereum. Attackers are using a publicly available relayer to inject fake batch roots into Ethereum and confirm withdrawals from zkLink Nova's L1 custody contract, transferring funds to designated addresses. The attack has so far resulted in losses of approximately $786,000 and is still ongoing.
