MEXC responded to the US FinCEN directive, stating that its operations are normal and that it has launched an independent review.

--

MEXC stated that it has been informed of the directive issued by the U.S. Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and is currently evaluating it. MEXC is operating normally, user assets are safe, and it plans to engage in constructive communication with FinCEN and relevant global regulatory agencies. MEXC has launched an independent review of its anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions control measures. This comes after the U.S. Treasury Department's FinCEN ordered the disconnection of MEXC Global from the U.S. financial system, alleging at least $16 billion in sanctions circumvention transactions.
