The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) is investigating Ryan Xu's connection with the cryptocurrency platform ACX Exchange operated by Blockchain Global. ACX Exchange collapsed in December 2019, facing issues with fund or cryptocurrency withdrawals. ASIC launched the investigation in January 2024, and the liquidator's report shows that as of October 2, 2023, Blockchain Global owes approximately AUD 58 million (USD 37.3 million) to unsecured creditors.
