[Marshall Islands to Distribute Universal Basic Income via Stellar] The government of the Marshall Islands has announced that it will distribute Universal Basic Income (ENRA) through Stellar, with the first round set to launch on November 26, 2025, covering all citizens. The funding source will be the investment returns of the Compact Trust Fund (capped at 4%). Distribution methods include checks, bank transfers, and blockchain channels (Lomalo digital wallet, supported by Stellar). Additionally, the Stellar Foundation has developed a digital sovereign bond, USDM1, which is pegged 1:1 to short-term U.S. Treasury bonds, denominated in USD, and redeemable at face value.
