[TradeAI/Stakx Ponzi Scheme Case Dismissal Motion Rejected, Involving $440 Million] Judge Lewis Kaplan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York has rejected the defendants' motion to dismiss the TradeAI/Stakx case, allowing the case to proceed. The lawsuit, filed by Burwick Law in 2024, accuses multiple defendants of operating a Ponzi-like fraudulent scheme through NFT and cryptocurrency investment pools, with the total amount involved reaching approximately $440 million and investor losses exceeding $20 million. The court dismissed the defendants' objections regarding jurisdiction, venue, and service procedures and ordered defendant Cyrus Abraham to disclose his current residential address by March 31, or face default judgment and sanctions. The court extended the formal service deadline to April 22 and permitted legal documents to be served via Ethereum wallet, email, and social media.
