Zondacrypto embroiled in controversy over inability to access $330 million BTC wallet

According to POLITICO, the Polish cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto is accused of regulatory oversight, political donations, and Russian financial ties. CEO Przemys ł aw Kral stated that the company has a wallet of approximately 4500 BTC worth around $330 million, but due to former head Sylvester Suszek's failure to hand over the private key and disappearance during the handover in 2021, the company is unable to access the asset. According to AP reports, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has accused Zondacrypto of being supported by "Russian funds" and funding former Polish nationalist conservative government politicians and CPAC activities in 2025.
