Fractile completes $220 million Series B financing

According to The Wall Street Journal, UK AI chip company Fractile has raised $220 million in Series B funding, led by Factorial Funds, Accel, and Peter Thiel's Founders Fund. Fractile was founded in 2022, focusing on the research and development of AI inference chips to improve the response speed of large models. Founder Walter Goodwin stated that the company's chip and memory architecture can reduce latency and improve bandwidth efficiency, with the goal of achieving faster and lower cost computing power.
