According to official sources in the UK, on May 27th, the UK imposed sanctions on cryptocurrency platforms such as EXMO Exchange, Bitpapa, Rapira, and Nueva Cryptologia, accusing them of assisting Russia in bypassing trade restrictions and providing funding channels for war financing. The UK claims that these platforms are related to the "A7" payment network, which processed over $90 billion in cash flows last year for settlement of Russian oil exports and military procurement. The sanctions measures include a global asset freeze, a ban on UK financial institution services, and restrictions on operations, involving Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Panama, and the United Arab Emirates.
