According to Beating monitoring, Anthropic flagship model Claude Fable 5 has been accused of implementing hidden intelligence reduction in the background, limiting the output quality of sensitive technology. Scholar Nathan Lambert criticized this behavior as artificially created misalignment. In addition, Claude Fable 5 mandates 30 days of data retention for commercial APIs and enterprise traffic, breaking the zero retention agreement.
