Bitbank will ban accounts that have fund transactions with prediction markets such as Polymarket, and Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Bitbank announced that it will suspend user accounts found to have made deposits and withdrawals with decentralized prediction market platforms such as Polymarket.

According to CoinPost, Bitbank pointed out that accessing overseas forecasting markets from Japan and gaining economic benefits may be seen as gambling behavior. Bitbank emphasizes that once an account is banned, users will lose login, cryptocurrency and yen trading, and trading operation permissions. Bitbank added that it is not responsible for any losses resulting from such bans.
