Zach Pandl: US restricts access to Anthropic models, driving Bittensor and TAO tokens up
According to Cointelegraph, Zach Pandl, the head of Grayscale Research, stated that the US requirement for Anthropic to cut off access to AI models has increased the demand for decentralized alternatives. The US government has requested Anthropic to suspend access to foreign citizens on national security grounds, and Anthropic has disabled Fable 5 and Mythos 5. Within 12 hours after Anthropic cut off access, Bittensor's TAO token rose 30% to reach $283. Zach Pandl refers to Bittensor as the Bitcoin of the AI field.
