BitGo launches compliance service to assist European crypto companies in responding to MiCA regulation According to CoinDesk, BitGo, regulated by Germany's BaFin, has launched the Crypto-as-a-Service platform, providing European cryptocurrency companies with a MiCA compliance pathway. After the enterprise connects to the BitGo wallet system and completes KYC, customer assets can be stored in a segregated custody account, and the enterprise can apply for a CASP license in parallel. BitGo CEO Mike Belshe stated that the minimum monthly fee for the service is around a few thousand dollars and offers either volume based billing or fixed rate plans. According to legal firm Hogan Lovells, as of May 2026, there are only 194 authorized CASPs in Europe, and it is expected that about 75% of MiCA pre registered crypto companies will lose their registration eligibility after the transition period ends.
