The Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority have launched a pilot project to study digital payment solutions for post market trading of derivative products

On June 18th, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced the launch of a joint pilot project with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange to study the use of "digital Hong Kong dollars" to provide digital payment solutions for derivative products during the closing trading hours, for paying pre paid deposits during the closing trading hours.
