According to Wall Street Insider, Wisconsin Republican Congressman Steyr proposed a clause that prohibits members of Congress and their families from betting on predictive markets related to policy, politics, and election topics, and prohibits members of Congress from buying new stocks. House Speaker Johnson and President Trump support the bill.
