According to the Associated Press, Adrian Boafo, who received support from the Protect Progress political action committee in the cryptocurrency industry, won the Democratic primary in Maryland, USA. According to documents from the Federal Election Commission, Protect Progress has invested $5.5 million in this election. As of June 3rd, external groups have invested approximately $8.8 million in Adrian Boafo's campaign, including $1.9 million from Protect Progress and $1.5 million from United Democracy Project. Adrian Boafo previously served as a federal government lobbyist for Oracle.
