According to CCTV, the Brazilian Ministry of Finance has submitted an application letter for the issuance of panda bonds to the China Banking Dealers Association, making Brazil the first Latin American country to register and issue sovereign panda bonds. The Governor of the People's Bank of China, Pan Gongsheng, stated that deepening investment and financing cooperation between the two countries, promoting the use of local currencies, promoting interconnectivity of financial infrastructure, ensuring that the fruits of cooperation benefit enterprises and people of both countries, and injecting momentum into global economic development and financial stability. Both China and Pakistan are promoting financial market connectivity and supporting the China Pakistan Sustainable Development and Capacity Expansion Cooperation Fund in laying out projects in areas such as climate change and clean energy. Both sides agree to strengthen macroeconomic policy coordination under mechanisms such as the G20, BRICS, and the International Monetary Fund, and jointly speak up for developing countries.
