According to the Financial Times, Apple is lobbying the US President Trump administration to obtain approval to purchase memory chips from Changxin Storage to alleviate cost pressures. Affected by the increase in memory prices and product prices, Apple's market value evaporated by $263 billion. Changxin Storage and Changjiang Storage are currently blacklisted by the US Department of Defense as Chinese military enterprises, and the US Department of Commerce had planned to include them in the entity list. At present, the global memory chip industry is mainly monopolized by Micron, Samsung, and SK Hynix.
