On June 30th, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that after the meeting between EU Trade and Economic Security Commissioner Maro š Š ef č ovi č and Chinese Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao, China is willing to strengthen communication with the EU to constructively resolve trade disputes. Beijing claims that China and the EU are partners rather than rivals, and the bilateral economic relationship is mutually beneficial and win-win. The root cause of the EU's problems is not in China. China promises to engage in dialogue on the basis of equality, respect, and mutual benefit, and will work together with the EU to maintain global supply chain stability.
