CACEIS launches EURXT stablecoin on Ethereum, completing the first tokenized fund subscription

CACEIS, a subsidiary of the French Agricultural Credit Bank, has launched the Euro stablecoin EURXT on Ethereum and completed the first use of EURXT to subscribe to the Amundi tokenized money market fund. EURXT is anchored 1:1 with the Euro, initially targeting institutional investors and corporate clients. There is no hard limit to the issuance of EURXT, with a circulation of 20.02 million at the time of release, supported by 20.02 million euros in reserves held by CACEIS Bank. This stablecoin complies with the EU MiCA regulations, and CACEIS has obtained a MiCA cryptocurrency service provider license issued by French regulatory authorities in June 2025.
