Bank of America strategist says Fed officials' public appearances have decreased

Bank of America stated that the number of public appearances by Federal Reserve officials significantly decreased in the two weeks following the June policy meeting, with only 12 speeches and interviews given, compared to an average of about 23 appearances during the same period since 2022. Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Walsh is implementing a more low-key communication strategy.
