[U.S. Treasury Updates Sanctions List, Tether Freezes 131 TRON Addresses] According to Chainalysis, the U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has updated the ISIS-K sanctions list, adding 134 cryptocurrency wallet addresses, including 131 TRON addresses and 3 Monero addresses. On-chain data shows that since 2023, the aforementioned TRON wallets have received over $1.4 million and transferred out over $880,000. Currently, Tether has frozen the balances of all 131 TRON addresses. Additionally, OFAC has sanctioned two Brazilian nationals and four companies linked to the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC), accusing them of using cryptocurrency to transfer over $30 million in illicit proceeds from the U.S. across borders to Brazil.
