Castle Securities sues former employee Leonard Lancia in London for $7.9 million in damages

According to Bloomberg, Castle Securities has sued former European head and co-founder of Portofino Technologies, Leonard Lancia, in London for over $7.9 million in compensation. Castle Securities accused Leonard Lancia of planning a startup during his tenure and sued Portofino Technologies for stealing trade secrets in the United States in 2023. Leonard Lancia and Portofino Technologies deny the allegations, and the High Court of London rejected Leonard Lancia's request to lift the asset freeze order last Friday.
