Alibaba bans Anthropic related products and requires employees to uninstall tools such as Claude

Alibaba notified its employees today to completely stop using Anthropic related products and requested the uninstallation of models and agent tools such as Claude Sonnet, Claude Opus, and Claude Code. The ban will take effect on July 10th. Anthropic has recently tightened its risk control measures for Chinese users and accused Alibaba of conducting industrial grade model distillation attacks on Claude through a large number of accounts to the US Senate in June.
