Deutsche Bank analyzes Meta's sale of AI computing power, expected to generate new revenue in 2027

Deutsche Bank analysis suggests that Meta plans to sell idle AI computing power to external parties, with Meta AI related computing power potentially reaching 8 to 11.5 GW by the end of 2027, of which approximately 1.2 to 2.7 GW can be sold externally. Assuming 75% of the sales are achieved and the annualized revenue per GW is between $1 million to $15 million, Meta can generate additional revenue of $900 million to $300 million in 2027, with a baseline scenario of approximately $175 million.
