BIT Official: Bitcoin Volatility May Narrow This Summer
According to a report by Jinse Finance on July 6, BIT Official released a daily chart analysis stating that one of their views for the coming weeks is that Bitcoin's implied volatility may drop below 30% this summer, similar to what happened in 2023 and 2025. If this occurs, option premiums could depreciate by approximately 30% solely due to the narrowing of volatility. For this reason, even though the current implied volatility is close to 36%, we still see opportunities in selling volatility. The market alternates between benefiting option buyers and sellers. At present, we believe the opportunity lies in capturing returns, but we are prepared to adjust our strategy at any time should market conditions change.
