According to Bloomberg, Samsung Electronics is in the early stages of evaluating the issuance of American depositary receipts and has had preliminary discussions with investment banks, which are part of a feasibility assessment. SK Hynix completed a $26.5 billion US IPO last week, and Samsung's stock price has risen by about 120% this year, with a market value exceeding $1 trillion. SK Hynix has risen by about 194% during the same period, with a market value of about $900 billion. Samsung's business covers multiple fields such as storage chips, logic chips, smartphones, and consumer electronics, and faces labor disputes.
