Tether invests $20 million in Ual á, Pierpaolo Barbie: does not integrate USDT in the short term

According to Bloomberg, Tether has invested $20 million in the Argentine digital bank Ual á, following Ual á's $197 million funding round announced in March. Ual á plans to use funds to accelerate expansion in Argentina, Mexico, and Colombia. Pierpaolo Barbie, founder and CEO of Ual á, stated that due to the regulatory environment in Argentina and Mexico, the platform will not integrate USDT in the short term, and Tether will only participate as a financial investor. Ual á has 11 million customers and is valued at $3.2 billion after this round of financing. It plans to accelerate its expansion in Mexico.
