Fireworks AI raises $1.5 billion in funding, valued at $17.5 billion

Fireworks AI, an AI infrastructure startup, has raised $1.5 billion in funding with a valuation of $17.5 billion. The company has received support from NVIDIA to provide developers with open-source AI model cloud running services. This round of financing is led by Atreides Management, Index Ventures, and TCV, with participation from institutions such as Nvidia, Evanic, and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Fireworks processes approximately 40 trillion AI tokens per day, with clients including Elastic, GitLab, MongoDB, and other enterprises.
